Robert Hill

Robert Hill is an artist and photographer with a strong scientific background and is particularly interested in the interface between art, science and the beauty of nature. In the Evolution diatom series he has taken photographs down a vintage Zeiss microscope of the delicate lacelike structures found in the silica skeletons of diatoms and used computer graphics to produce strikingly coloured images of unique beauty.
