Glass sections are jig-sawed together and bonded on to birch ply. All have a keyhole fixing for wall mounting.
Incredibly difficult to make these angular compositions rely on precision cutting and polishing all done by hand. The art glass sections are hand crafted with multiple high firings and lengthy cold work (as all artworks)…. once through the kiln the triangular sections are water gilded with 24 carat gold, silver and copper before being backed up. This technique is extremely skilled giving a precious metallic quality to the glass and making each mirror shape unique. Commissions in any size shape or colour possible.
